Access Your MS Office – Anywhere, Anytime, Any Device!

All you need is….

Did you know that you can access your Office 365 resources from just about anywhere and from any internet connected device? It provides an experience that is very much like using your typical desktop applications.

All you need to know to use this feature is

1.) your full email address

2.) your Office 365 password

And this is how you get there!

Point your browser to https://portal.office.com.  You should be presented with the “Sign in” screen. Sign in with your credentials (full email address) and password. If prompted select work or school account, whichever applies to you.

Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be able to access your applications by clicking on the app launcher icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen (seen outlined in purple in the image). The app launcher will bring up your application options as shown in the photo to the left.

From here you can access the traditional mail, contacts (people), calendar and tasks as well as web versions of all your Microsoft apps (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and files that are stored in OneDrive or on SharePoint. Any changes made and mail sent or received will be mirrored on your desktop!
